Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team at Porsche Engineering Group. As a key member of our In-Vehicle Infotainment Systems team, you will be responsible for leading the technical development of our IVI functions, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and define system and software architecture for IVI applications, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance
  • Oversee the integration of speech recognition functions into the infotainment system, enhancing the user experience through voice control features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infotainment functions
  • Stay updated with technological advancements in IVI, speech recognition, and related fields to inform strategic decisions and innovations
  • Conduct code reviews, provide guidance, and mentor team members to maintain high-quality standards in software development
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met and expectations are aligned with stakeholders
  • Lead technical development and troubleshooting, support & guide function development team on concept development, trouble shooting, issue identification and verification, and ensure the successful Software release
  • Work closely with Porsche headquarter R&D and Porsche Engineering Shanghai teams, exchange the development status on a regular basis
  • Study new technology and support on product roadmap definition, feasibility check
  • Support of coordination with venders, content providers and service providers
  • Leading in house pre-development of infotainment/connected car service
Requirements
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical computer science
  • 8 years working experience in automotive companies, OEM or 1st tier
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles, particularly in in-vehicle infotainment systems
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture and software architecture principles
  • Familiarity with speech recognition technologies and their integration into software applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Basic knowledge about IT backend
