About the Role

The International Principal will be responsible for leading the school's international education program, overseeing the development and implementation of the curriculum, and ensuring the school's commitment to international excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the school's international education program, ensuring alignment with the school's mission and vision.
  • Develop and implement the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of students and aligns with international standards.
  • Oversee the recruitment and development of international staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and qualifications.
  • Collaborate with the Chinese Principal to ensure effective leadership and management of the school.
  • Ensure the school's commitment to international excellence, including adherence to CIS standards and accreditation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning, including professional development for staff.
  • Represent the school in the public domain, building relationships with government, international businesses, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in education, preferably in international schools.
  • Minimum 4 years' successful senior leadership experience, preferably in international schools.
  • Evidence of success in managing change, school improvement, curriculum development, and innovation.
  • Experience in a Cambridge school and in China would be an advantage.
  • Fluent command of English language.
