Your Role

This exciting role will work in the architecture studio on large, high-end, and custom design projects, providing design leadership by giving clients an excellent service both on design and delivery, continually providing design solutions, improving design quality, representing Gensler architecture design to clients and the design community, mentoring designers in their careers, and working profitably for the firm.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Directors and team members on conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development.
  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
  • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
  • Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings (as needed).
  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
  • Develop and be responsible for projects budgets.
  • Coordinate with technical team.
  • Participate in business development efforts.

Your Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional experience, including a proven track record of leading the design of large-scale projects such as corporate headquarters, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
  • BArch/MArch or foreign equivalent, Architectural licensed.
  • Must understand trends in large, shell/core architectural design.
  • Possess a high level of visual and verbal communication skills and a high level of freehand and rendering skills.
  • Have the ability to mentor team members, offer guidance, and leadership.
  • Be capable of using 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the total project process, including fee and team management, schedules, and budgets.
  • REVIT is a plus.
