MG2 is seeking a talented Architectural Staff to join our Shanghai, China office. The ideal candidate will play a production role in the delivery of design and technical design, managing their own workload and priorities as assigned by their manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with project teams to improve design and delivery
  • Handle basic communication with consultants and jurisdictions for project coordination
  • Perform design research and code research as needed
  • Participate in sustainable design processes and manage project LEED requirements as needed
  • Produce accurate and timely work
  • Demonstrate active learning and engagement in professional development through daily work
  • Build strong foundational skills in the basics of design, interior design, technical design, and management
  • Manage work to assigned budget
  • Produce work that demonstrates understanding of intent
  • Forecast personal workload and seek out new assignments ahead of need

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent
  • Prior experience working collaboratively with others, including consultants
  • Proven proficiency in document production
  • Prior experience managing own work to budget set by manager
  • Actively pursuing licensure or certification
  • Working toward LEED Green Associate accreditation
