Staff Manager – China PC Product Marketing Expert

Job Title: Staff Manager – China PC Product Marketing
Job Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Staff Manager to lead the Product Marketing team in China, focusing on accelerating PC business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PC and Cellular ecosystem, with a proven track record of growing new business and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with headquarters and China leadership team's strategic goals to accelerate PC business success in China market.
- Drive PC product roadmap, customer engagements, and align product plans with sales and engineering teams.
- Understand China PC industry trends, ecosystem partners, competitive environment, supply chain, and channel landscape.
- Conduct strategic analysis to identify market opportunities in China, define market segmentation, and develop scaling strategies.
- Demonstrate Qualcomm PC product leadership in AI, Graphics, and low power computing, connectivity, and co-define OEM product portfolio based on our product leadership.
- Build Supplier Windows on Snapdragon ecosystem and partnership.
- Understand areas of improvement in Qualcomm product offering and drive improvement actions across product planning, engineering support, and business practice changes.
- Work with Marketing Communication team to build Windows on Snapdragon brand in China.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in PC and Phone/Tablet industries.
- Solid PC product planning skills and competition analysis capabilities.
- Solid PC SoC definition skill to deliver SoC Specification, Power/Performance/Area requirements.
- Solid knowledge of PC SoC architecture and SoC development process.
- Work experience with biz team, operation team, and R/D teams like architecture, design, PD, package, CP/FT, SW/HW engineering.
- Deep understanding of key IPs like CPU/GPU/NPU/NoC/Interface, family with fabrication vendors' process node technology and roadmap.
- Solid knowledge of PC hardware and software solutions.
- Deep knowledge of PC underlying technologies, customer, ecosystem partners, product portfolio, and market trends.
- Proven business strategy expertise to break new ground to radically drive growth, time-to-market, revenue, and MSS.
- Proven ability to influence and partner at all leadership levels across BU's, supply chain partners, diverse international cultures, and external entities.
- People leadership, program management, and cross-function collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with proven ability to extract and articulate clear and concise key messages from detailed, complex, and often incongruent signals.
- Bachelor's degree in science/engineering. MBA preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
- OR
- Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
- OR
- High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
