Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Digital Transformation department. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in improving customer personalization and omnichannel experience using data science principles. Your expertise will help us draw valuable insights and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders on a local and global level.

Responsibilities
  • Data Pipeline Management
    • Ensure high data quality from ingestion to transformation
    • Develop and maintain end-to-end data processing pipelines
  • Data Mining & Statistical Modeling
    • Develop and deploy data mining and statistical models for analysis
  • Algorithm Innovation
    • Continuously innovate and test new algorithms tailored to business needs
    • Localize global solutions to adapt to local context
  • Model Optimization in Production
    • Ensure production models are relevant and optimized as business conditions evolve
    • Monitor, update, and refine models to keep pace with changing business requirements
  • Insight Extraction & Reporting
    • Extract actionable insights from complex datasets and provide clear recommendations
  • Collaboration & Testing Framework Development
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and test frameworks for impact assessment
    • Ensure data-driven insights are applied in a structured and measurable way
  • Strategic Ad-Hoc Analysis
    • Provide timely insights and recommendations based on immediate business needs or emerging questions
Requirements
  • Background and Work Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Quantitative or Technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Operations Research, AI, Computer Science/Engineering)
    • Passionate about data science and discovering actionable insights
    • Experience in applying data science principles on a global and local level, focusing on MarTech, CRM, e-commerce, supply chain, or product development domains
    • Possess high-quality standards and attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data understanding to action plans for non-technical stakeholders
    • High proficiency in Chinese and English
  • Technical Skills
    • Expertise in Python, along with experience in key analytics libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy)
    • Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and algorithms (XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forest)
