Role Overview:

As a Costing Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic international setting, contributing to the company by executing various costing projects and analyses. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting comprehensive cost assessments, including value analysis and comparative cost evaluations.
  • Implementing design-to-cost strategies and economic modeling for manufacturing processes.

Your role will involve managing daily project tasks and cost evaluations, ensuring timely reporting to your supervisor. You will organize project deliveries to align with client expectations and maintain the necessary expertise to achieve high-quality outcomes. Continuous professional development will be essential to keep your skills sharp and relevant, while also providing insights for enhancing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute cost studies with a focus on planning, quality assurance, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Analyze data inputs, identify necessary materials and manufacturing methods, and apply internal costing tools and techniques.
  • Comprehend and articulate product functionalities across systems and components.
  • Propose optimization strategies for system costs.
  • Conduct benchmarking and value analysis to assess cost versus performance.
  • Draft detailed study reports that meet established quality standards.
  • Present findings and ensure client satisfaction throughout the process.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's degree in relevant fields such as applied physics, mathematics, engineering disciplines, or computer science.
  • Prior experience in electronics or mechanical design is advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate complex technical environments.
  • Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English, complemented by a confident demeanor.
