Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team at Corning. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate close of books, performing plant cost and inventory management activities, and assisting the Plant Controller with completion of the month-end reporting package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate close of books that is fully compliant to US/statutory/corporate requirements
  • Perform plant cost and inventory management related activities
  • Assist Plant Controller with completion of the month-end reporting package
  • Partner with business to enhance their understanding of plant spending, resolve issues, and correct errors
  • Support financial forecast and plan (short term and long term) of the plant and track towards it
  • Develop financial plan (short term and long term) of the plant and track towards it
  • Perform and enhance control process of the plant, including SOX, capital spending control, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent, MBA is preferred
  • Strong Finance/Accounting Background, knowledge of US GAAP and SOX, CPA or ACCA preferred
  • 4-5 years work experience in Finance function of multi-national company environment
  • Familiar with SAP or PS system will be a plus
