Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in the role of Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality Java server-side software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality Java server-side software solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Work closely with local and global development teams in overall solution design and technical design activities.
  • Deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the requirements while adhering to the technical design and existing departmental standards and best practices for software development.
  • Provide bug fixing as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • University graduate with working experience in software development, ideally multi-tier / real-time applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Java server-side and relational database management systems.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA, Spring, Spring Integration, Web services, JMS/Messaging and Oracle (PL/SQL).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn fast and rapidly assimilate new business requirements.
  • Disciplined approach, able to follow process and suggest improvements where necessary.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Web dev experience is a plus.
  • Experience on OLAP solution is a plus.
  • Cloud-related development experience is a plus.
