Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Local Distribution Planner to join our team at Bulgari. As a key member of our distribution operations team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our distribution network and ensuring the availability of our products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting and Planning: Analyze market trends, store demands, and historical data to forecast demand for all business units. Develop and maintain demand forecasts for different product categories and market segments. Provide central planning with constant feedback on target stock levels.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor target stock level updates and ensure stock availability across distribution channels. Plan and execute replenishment strategies and rebalancing to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Perform analysis on stock levels and stock quality.
  • Distribution Network Optimization: Update local customer service teams on product master file updates and stock availability. Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective product deliveries. Monitor and manage material assortment and inventory levels at warehouses.
  • Sales and Operations Planning: Ensure timely management of spot orders requests to define appropriate actions and ensure service level. Coordinate product launches, promotions, market events with merchandisers and sales teams. Participate in S&OP meetings to review performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics and share information with related teams. Provide insights and recommendations to management for data-driven decision-making. Identify areas for improvement and implement continuous process enhancements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, merchandisers, logistics, and finance to ensure proper planning execution. Act as a contact point towards merchandisers for product strategy, orders status, stock availability, etc.

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Languages: Fluent in both Chinese and English
  • Professional experience & know-how: 5 years in distribution planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations, preferably in the luxury or retail industry
