Job Title: Senior Learning Experience Designer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer to join our team at EF Education First. As a Senior Learning Experience Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality language learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collect and develop requirements for new language learning solutions
- Create and review learning materials and knowledge assessments across various internal platforms
- Use available data to evaluate project results and suggest ways to improve them
- Hire, train, and manage freelance writers and editors
- Collaborate effectively as part of a cross-functional project team to meet project objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional communication of ongoing project needs and development progress
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new tools and technology within the language learning and wider educational ecosystem
- Work independently to achieve project goals and meet challenging deadlines
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Linguistics
- Experience in EFL/ELT materials development, preferably for online learners
- Experience working in editorial project and people management
- Demonstrated familiarity with language standards and frameworks (e.g. CEFR)
- Digital media skills and ability to work in a technological setting
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Proven interpersonal skills for stakeholder communication
- Strong written communication skills applied to learning materials development
- A desire to innovate in the area of education
