Transformational Learning Experience Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to join our team at EF Education First.
About the Role: The Senior Learning Experience Designer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality language learning experiences, employing learning and human-centered design principles together with new, innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and develop requirements for new learning solutions.
- Create and review learning materials and knowledge assessments across various internal platforms.
- Use available data to evaluate project results and suggest ways of improving them.
- Hire, train, and manage freelance writers and editors.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a cross-functional project team to meet project objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication of ongoing project needs and development progress.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new tools and tech within the language learning and wider educational ecosystem.
- Work independently to achieve project goals and meet challenging deadlines.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Linguistics.
- Experience in EFL/ELT materials development, preferably for online learners.
- Experience working in editorial project and people management.
- Demonstrated familiarity with language standards and frameworks (e.g., CEFR).
- Digital media skills and ability to work in a technological setting.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Proven interpersonal skills for stakeholder communication.
- Strong written communication skills applied to learning materials development.
- A desire to innovate in the area of education.
