Senior Powerplant Mechanical Design Engineer - Aerospace - Shanghai.

Job Summary:
Our Civil Aerospace Client is looking to appoint a Senior Powerplant Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and verification of the EBU and BFE installation layouts for their wide body civil passenger aircraft program. The role requires the capability of analyzing vibration environments and mechanical load transmission for engine and nacelle equipment installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and verification of EBU and BFE installation layouts.
Analyse vibration environments and mechanical load transmission for engine and nacelle equipment installation.
Required Skills & Experience:
Master’s degree or above in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of civil aircraft powerplant systems.
Experience of working in other international engine/nacelle suppliers or aircraft manufacturers; preference will be given to those with experience in wide-body or long-range programs.
Experienced in the design and verification of EBU and BFE installation layouts for civil aircraft powerplants.
Capability to analyse vibration environments and mechanical load transmission for engine and nacelle equipment installation.
Strong understanding of CS/FAR 25 compliance.
Good command of English for technical communication, Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a multi-disciplinary team. Initial contracts of 1-3 years offered with potential to extend. Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China for 1- 3 years initial contract
