  • IMG buyer for Driver Information or Wiring Harness commodities on strategy / sourcing / productivity /operation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IMG program sourcing and productivity negotiation.
  • Lead IMG cost, quality and delivery management from sourcing throughout program lifecycle.
  • Lead IMG supplier risk management with ICA/PCA development and implementation.
  • Lead IMG end to end value chain evaluation on cost opportunities identification and delivery.
  • Support Global Purchasing Sourcing Approval Forum reviews and approvals.
  • Represent IMG Purchasing on global commodity strategy / QCDR assessment and alignment.
  • Enhance healthy relationship with suppliers for mutual success on business.
  • Work with country Purchasing on PO/TO timely release for new parts/design change and productivity claims.
  • Co-lead with engineering on IMG strategy development.

Qualifications
Education Qualification: Bachelor or above

No. of Years of Experience: 5+ years of supply chain experience

Professional Exposure (Technical Skills) :

  • Production Purchasing experience in Automotive industry.
  • Adequate technical knowledge on Electrical commodities, semiconductors or wiring harness.
  • Strong strategic thinking in supplier base management.
  • High quality in data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills in English with cross functional teams.
  • Extensive experience on supply risk management.
  • Resilience to work under pressure.

Preferred previous experiences:

  • Commodity sourcing experience
  • Supplier strategy development experience
  • Strong big data analysis and logic skills for mathematical model
  • Comprehensive knowledge in Purchasing procedures and Program launch milestones (GPDS)
  • Supply risk management

Leadership Skills: Lead/ support cross functional team & drive towards common solution in complicated cases

Functional Skills:

  • Commodity knowledge
  • Negotiation skills
  • Data accuracy
  • Manufacturing process knowledge (SMT / Assembly)
  • Comprehensive knowledge in Purchasing procedures, Program launch,

and manufacturing process, etc.

  • Fluent in English writing/speaking
