Brief description of the position:

Scope of this position is the Main Contact Person for diagnostic technology and the diagnostic development process in technical development and the involved business areas of production and customer service. The aim is the standardized implementation of diagnostic-relevant technologies, data, functions and tools in vehicle projects.

Key Tasks:

Support the developing departments in defining, implementing and securing uniform diagnostic requirements, Ensuring timely, compliant and complete implementation of the diagnosis by means of acceptance.Responsible for diagnose protocols test (Q-LAH: UDS - Unified Diagnostic Service, DoIP - Diagnostics over Internet protocol, Flash Reprogramming, ISO-TP-ISO Transport protocol, FDS- Flash data security, SFD- Protection of Vehicle Diagnosis, IVD- Integrity Validation Data etc.) Diagnosis coordination with Development, Production, Quality and After sales, act as Central point of contact for diagnostic questions for the individual systems, Plan and carry out diagnostic test implementation on component and vehicle level to ensure meeting project requirement.Act as coordinator between areas on the topic of diagnostic test and reviews of test reports from supplier, to make sure ECU on receiving status performance.Testability check with Pre-Test/Pre-Chec, Clarification of test condition & Execution of test. Adjust parameter for automation test for different ECU's on Test Bench. Support for the *.cdd, *.odx file check, create, release procedure, to keep a good quality of diagnostic data base.Analysis and documentation of the test results based on protocols and requirements. Support for supplier education on diagnostic test specifications, and processes with the supplier workshop.Create and maintain diagnostic test scripts, test cases and environment.Regularly align with brand and group counterparts regarding next-generation Diagnose technology and verification concepts as well as performance analysis methods.Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder. Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Qualification and skills required for the position:

Education: Engineering Bachelor/Master degree in vehicle engineering, computer engineering, information technology, electronic engineering or similar

Working experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience in a comparable position desired

Knowledge, skills and others:

Diagnostic experience in VWAG Technical understanding of automotive diagnostic technology requiredKnowledge of automotive diagnostic design tools and methods required, like Vector diagnostic tool chain, CAN Dela studio, ODX Studio, Canoe, etc Familiar with AUTOSAR CP/AP, especially DCM/DEM/FIMFamiliar with diagnostic related ISO protocols 14229, 13400, 15765, 15031 etc. Familiar with C or Python or CAPL (CAPL is preferred.) Excellent inter-cultural communication and coordination skillsBusiness language skills in English (written and oral) mandatory
