This strategic safety leadership role combines program development expertise with regulatory compliance management, requiring you to design site EHS programs based on client standards, JLL requirements, and local regulations while creating safe operation procedures, emergency plans, and training matrices to maintain continuous improvement in EHS performance. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to workplace safety excellence by conducting comprehensive EHS training programs, performing site risk assessments, leading incident investigations with 100% Root Cause Analysis completion, and managing hazardous waste warehouse operations while ensuring zero violations of safety regulations and maintaining zero injury targets across all operations.What your day-to-day will look like:Design site EHS programs based on client standards, JLL requirements, and local regulations while creating SOPs, emergency plans, and training matricesDevelop annual EHS plans, budgets, and drill schedules while maintaining continuous improvement in EHS performanceConduct comprehensive EHS training programs including LOTO, confined space, hot work, work at height, and GHS while organizing emergency drillsMaintain Emergency Response Team while developing training matrices and ensuring appropriate safety education for all personnelPerform site risk assessments and review Job Hazard Analyses while conducting regular safety inspections to eliminate identified hazardsMonitor subcontractor compliance with safety requirements and codes of conduct while ensuring zero violations of safety regulationsLead incident investigations with 100% Root Cause Analysis completion while developing comprehensive action plans following incidentsManage hazardous waste warehouse operations including collection, segregation, and disposal while overseeing chemical management and GHS compliance.Required Qualifications:China Certified Safety Engineer license with extensive experience as Safety Supervisor/Manager in foreign-funded manufacturing companiesStrong English language proficiency (written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal communication and management skillsProactive approach with ability to support digital transformation initiatives (IFM 4.0)Experience performing site risk assessments and conducting safety inspectionsKnowledge of emergency response procedures and Emergency Response Team managementUnderstanding of hazardous waste management and chemical handling complianceAbility to lead incident investigations and develop comprehensive action plansExperience with occupational health file maintenance and health screening coordination.Preferred Qualifications:NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent international safety certificationCSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) credentialsExperience with multiple safety management systems and international standardsBackground supporting various audits including RBA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and government inspectionsKnowledge of LOTO, confined space, hot work, and work at height safety proceduresUnderstanding of GHS compliance and chemical management systemsExperience with foreign-funded manufacturing company environmentsFamiliarity with JLL Code of Conduct policies and procedures.Location: On-site.What you can expect from us:Opportunity to make meaningful impact on workplace safety within a Fortune 500 companyProfessional development and exposure to cutting-edge facility management technologiesCareer growth opportunities within a global real estate leader operating across 80+ countriesGlobal platform with local expertise working alongside 103,000+ professionals worldwide.At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
