Procurement Specialist

The Role

This person will be in charge of procurement for MI plant (Not limited to China Plant) with Chinese  and overseas suppliers.

What you will do:

• On-time purchase, confirm and follow-up deliveries to meet the requirements of both production and customer demand through MRP analysis
• Manage suppliers' day to day performance meeting world class level service quality. Proactively identify risk of supply, analyze and drive action plans systematically with supplier
• Release forecast to suppliers timely and manage in a dynamic manner
• Cooperate with relative internal stakeholders to solve material or supplier related issues with efficient counter measures
• Work closely with the Regional Inventory planner to optimize safety stock
• Effectively conduct global communication and allocation when supply is in constraint
• Maintain and improve the relative master data in ERP system including but not limited to material, purchasing master data, BOM, route, etc
• Implement projects or tasks with relative stakeholders in a matrix and multinational organization
• Apply continuous improvement tools to drive KPI and improve work process sustainably
• Complete other procurement-related work assigned by superior

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 5+ years working experience
• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking
• Related SAP experience and knowledge with MRP analysis
• Problem-solving skill through quantitative and qualitative analysis of data and information.
• Fast response. Good time management on multi tasks.
• Enthusiasm for excellence. Strong ownership, positive attitude, teamwork, 'Can do' spirit
• Capable and willing to take multi tasks and to do whatever it takes to get job done.
• Integrity, open-minded, customer-oriented, focus detail and quality.

Nice to have:

• Major in supply chain or international trade related
• Logistics knowledge about warehousing and inbound transportation
• Training certificates on relative material resource planning
• Basic knowledge on lean or continuous improvement
