About The Role
At ShopBack, our Engineering teams build scalable and operable platforms that power eCommerce traffic across the region and deliver world-class shopping experiences. You will join our

Your Adventure Ahead

• Build and scale AI-powered backend services supporting LLM search, recommendations, and agent workflows.
• Design high-quality, low-latency APIs and orchestration pipelines for AI products across ShopBack platforms.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines, vector search, and data integrations powering intelligent shopping experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and ML teams to shape and deliver new AI features end-to-end.
• Drive engineering best practices and mentor others in building reliable, observable, and cost-efficient AI systems.

Essentials To Succeed

• 5+ years of experience building consumer-facing web applications or backend systems.
• Proven experience shipping AI, LLM, or agent-based systems (RAG, vector DBs, orchestration flows, or LLM APIs).
• Hands-on experience with / Typescript (preferred) or Java, Kotlin, Python.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability patterns, API design, and low-latency backend architectures.
• Practical experience using Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Cursor, or LangChain.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment with high ownership and adaptability.
