Position Overview

The account manager's mission is to manage and enlarge the portfolios of solar and BESS manufacturers (vendors) participating to the STS Vendors Due Diligence Program. The successful candidate will maintain excellent relationships with vendors already involved in the program and find and engage with new participants, establishing new powerful partnerships and expanding the program. It will also entail ensuring smooth exchange of data, authorizations and reports across the program stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Relationship Building & Stakeholders Engagement
  • Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with global PV and BESS manufacturers (modules, cells, containers, battery packs, etc.)
  • Act as the primary point of contact for manufacturers, ensuring smooth communication and effective collaboration among stakeholders
  • Present and explain program benefits in a clear, solution-oriented manner, both from a technical and commercial perspective
  • Ensure satisfaction of participating manufacturers, addressing issues promptly and maintaining a high level of service quality
  1. Program Expansion and Growth
  • Promote the program to manufacturers worldwide, identifying and onboarding new participants
  • Lead the qualification and onboarding process for new manufacturers, guiding them through requirements and protocols
  • Collaborate with the sales and program management teams to expand participation and strengthen market positioning
  • Monitor key account metrics (retention, satisfaction, new onboarding) and report progress against KPIs
  1. Service Delivery
  • Coordinate timely delivery of program data (services, reports, insights) by running necessary processes and authorization with manufacturers participating to the program
  • Implement and enforce standardized cross-functional delivery protocols with participating manufacturers
  • Run operational logistics, including follow-ups, document collection, authorizations, and contracting
  • Review and validate vendor documentation for eligibility, completeness, and relevance
  • Support cross-functional teams (IT, audit, operations, and technology) in maintaining and enhancing the program platform
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, agreements, and performance metrics in CRM and reporting systems
  1. Program Improvement & Market Intelligence
  • Gather feedback from manufacturers and translate insights into recommendations for program enhancement
  • Monitor competitor offerings, market trends, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to propose and implement process improvements, ensuring continuous evolution of the program
  • Ensure compliance with program policies, confidentiality requirements, and relevant standards

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor in a technical field, or above, preferably in renewable energy or a related field
  • 5+ years in the industry, 3+ years in relevant position (Account Manager,  Technical Sales, Consultant)
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, native Chinese speaker.
  • Excellent Presentation and Public Speaking Skills, needed to engage technical and non-technical audience and deliver sales messages
  • Ability to collect, handle and evaluate complex and detailed documentation
  • Willigness to travel frequently nationally and internationally
  • Comfortable working flexibly across cultures and time zones
