Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Day to Day Responsibility

• Responsible for implementing and improving the company's quality management system, as well as its operation, upgrading, and maintenance, to promote continuous improvement of the company's quality system.
• Responsible for timely supervision, inspection, and guidance of the implementation of management system documents.
• Responsible for the annual internal audit, external audit, and management review of the company's quality system.
• Responsible for developing and implementing quality management plans to ensure that the quality of products or services meets standards.
• Responsible for quality assurance work related to the transfer and mass production stages of new project products.
• Participate in product development and design, process review, and new product validation, develop control plans and inspection standards to ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements and standards.
• Participate in the evaluation of new suppliers, quarterly performance evaluation and annual audit of key suppliers.
• Continuously promote the improvement of quality awareness and quality capabilities among all employees.
• Complete other job assigned by immediate supervisor what is required for this position.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor 's degree required within Engineering or Quality fields preferred.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification, or equivalent preferred.
• DMAIC green belt certification preferred.
• English proficiency, both oral and written.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5-7 years in factory operational quality management, and the communication industry is preferred.
• Certificate for the certified auditors of QEH&S(ISO9001,ISO14001,ISO45001) management systems is preferred.
• Experience with SPC,8D, QC 7 Tools, MSA, LEAN, DOE's variation reduction.
• Well understand and master the major environmental and safety factors involved in the department and obey all company EHS rules.

• Have a deep understanding of product quality control, proficient in using quality analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
• Good organizational and coordination skills and possessing a high sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
• With good written English skill.
