Brief description of the position:

As a VCU SW developer, the main responsibility is to perform software component module development (MBD) based on the requirements and conduct necessary validation to ensure the quality of delivery.

Key Tasks:

  • Checking the rationality and feasibility of VCU level change request (S2), review support to finalize it as basic input.
  • Performing SWC module creation, modification and optimization based on VCU level change request.
  • Performing necessary validation(modeling statical and functional check) to ensure the quality of delivered software component module.
  • Implementing documentation management to ensure the traceability and consistency of SWC modules.
  • Supporting the calibration integration and software compiling.
  • Supporting the validation in terms of MIL/SIL/HIL/Bench'/Vehicle, leading the issue resolution in case of SWC bug identification.
  • Supporting the optimization of SW development in terms of data dictionary, scripts development, process etc..
  • Supporting the communication with stakeholders in terms of SWC module scope.
  • General project management tasks regarding given role descriptions. Procurement of the information and literature required for the field of work, gathering of work specific requirements (market, costs, strategy, regulatory, technical, customer, quality …) to support the ongoing work and to stimulate further developments, as well as patent protection of the work results.

Qualification and skills:

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Internship experience in the automotive industry and comparable position;
  • Knowledge of C coding languages and frameworks/systems (e.g. Git).
  • Familiar with Classic AUTOSAR RTE/SWC development.
  • Familiar with Classic AUTOSAR Communication development.
  • Familiar with Python development.
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies, attention to detail.
