The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. How You'll Make An Impact

• You will identify, propose, advise and implement existing IT application technology and IT solutions/services, sharing knowledge and –depending on seniority - guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IT application technology and business requirements.
• You will involve in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions/services where application knowledge is needed.
• You will be involved in application and software design, in order to provide product solutions for specific business needs.
• You will manage/ support the entire process of building applications, from the design process, to creating, testing and rolling out the application.
• You will design a product solution in line with specifications given by Solution Architect, Application Manager and business users.
• You will implement application and provide support services for users.
• You will provide trainings for the business users.
• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or business management.
• Required 5 years of experience in IT Applications Management and Service Delivery in multinational companies.
• Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders, experience in one or more coding languages (e.g. Javascript, C++, Python, Java. Specify the languages relevant to the role).
• Experience with development platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes. Specify the languages relevant to the role) and good understanding in ITIL 4 Preferred.
• Required L6S Lean 6 Sigma Certification and experience with functional domain where the application belongs to. (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Sales & Marketing. Specify the languages relevant to the role).
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and strong ability to understand context for code, the codebase, and its relation to business objectives.
• Exceptional analytical abilities for navigating intricate data structures and demonstrated excellence in project management, Cyber Security Management of Application Development and maintenance.
