Brief description of the position:

Scope of this position is to design and develop a central control unit as an autonomous driving solution according to development process of Volkswagen.

Key tasks:

1.Draft and finalize on component requirements of central ECU.

2.Review hardware architecture and PCB layout according to VW standards.

3.ware development plan based on vehicle timeline. Monitor and report hardware project status.

4.Cooperate with system engineers and function owners on central ECU general requirements

5.Grant component approval with the basis of component and vehicle level test reports.

6. Troubleshoot on cases of hardware failure and provide full problem analysis reports.

7.Execute benchmark activities including ECU analysis of hardware interfaces, layout design, sub-component selection, etc.

8.Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications &skills:

1.Bachelor or Master degree in automotive / electrical / computational engineering or similar.

2.Knowledge in development process, vehicle electrical architecture, ECU electrical design, hardware diagnostics concept is preferred.

3.Proficient oral and written skills in English required.

4.Knowledge on regulation, laws and standard related to ADAS / HAD function preferred.

5.Excellent capabilities in communication and team work.

6.Experience of studying or working abroad as a plus.
