Lab Technician

Job Title:Lab TechnicianSummary:• Prepare lab sample following the guidance of chemist for new product development, quality evaluation and new material qualification• Execute the evaluation of the sample and prototypes according to internal and customer standards independently • Document experiment record and data report in a timely and organized manner• Support EHS, 5S and other lab admin issuesResponsibilities Include:Carry out lab sample preparations with general supervision from manager for development of new products& applications of electronic materials such as but not limited to thermal conductive, adhesive, encapsulation and pottingWork on the lab sample evaluation and raw material qualification for existing products independently according to routine laboratory proceduresRecord all experimental data and observations by following CTC lab notebook requirementsProvide charts, graphs and written summaries of experimental results to manager.Contribute to safe operations and 5SProvide other lab admin. service such support to procurement orderQualifications:The following are required for the roleB.S. or B.A. in Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry/Science/Engineering.>1 year's experience in Chemical Companies.Familiarity with basic chemical principles and experience with routine laboratory operations is required.Experience in material science, formulations, application and testing is required.Self-motivated, results-oriented, with careful attention to detail and high level of initiative ability to be flexible and to work on multiple projects at any given time.Fluent in Mandarin language both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of standard PC operationsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or Polymer Science related fieldHaving related silicone/epoxy/polyurethane experience is a plus.>3 years' experience in Chemical Companies.What We Offer:At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
