Lab Technician, Coating

Job Summary
Responsible for day to day lab operations in the coatings lab, support the application team by providing lab evaluation results to technical team.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the coatings application team to conduct daily work according to the labjob assignment, complete TSR labjob to meet required timeline and ensure data accuracy
- Safely operate lab equipment (spray booth, grinding system, lab mixer, color computer etc) according to the evaluation procedures and SOP.
- Report on the deviations of lab trials
- Document test results, draft test report when required
- Clean and maintain lab equipment in good condition, assist the maintenance in collaboration with other lab staffs
- Support the sampling work and keep the sample room well organized
- Observe the laboratory safety guidelines and compliance with company EHS policy
- Support the continuous improvement of the lab operations efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- College degree or above in chemical engineering, applied chemistry, material science or related subjects
- 2+ years of working experience in coatings lab or plant.
- Good moral quality with strong sense of responsibility
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated working attitude
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
- Good MS office skills
- English as working language
