工作职责
Objectives:

• Supports the development and testing of cathode electrophoretic coatings (E-Coat) products under the guidance of senior scientist and project leader following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Contributes to the formulation, evaluation, and improvement of E-Coat technologies, ensuring product quality and performance in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

Main Tasks:

• Assist in preparing formulations and conducting scientific research tasks.

• Perform routine testing of intermediates, binders, pastes, and E-Coat baths (e.g., pH, conductivity, viscosity, solid content, etc.) following standard SOPs.

• Prepare samples of pastes, E-Coat baths, and E-Coat panels for internal testing and customer approval.

• Support performance evaluations such as thickness, appearance, hardness, adhesion, mechanical performance, corrosion resistance, etc.

• Maintain accurate records of lab work, test results, and observations.

• Draft, review, and update Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) documents and SOPs for laboratory processes and equipment operation.

• Help maintain lab equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.

• Collaborate with R&D team members on product development and troubleshooting activities.

任职要求

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry; Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science preferred.

• Experience: fresh graduate; internship or 1-2 years of laboratory experience in coatings or chemical industry preferred.

• Basic understanding of coating formulations and laboratory techniques.

• Familiarity with lab instruments such as pH meters, viscometers, and balances.

• Proficiency in English reading and writing, especially for technical documentation and communication.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a lab environment.
