The AP Equipment Sourcing Analyst isconsidered the corporate expert for the assigned commodities and leads the development and implementation of the globalcommodity strategy in Collaboration with the Global ESS Commodity Strategy Owner to realize established goals and objectives onTactical and Transactional Level.Responsibility/Job ComplexityBuild up a regional sub-commodity strategy based on global procurement and business strategy/ ObjectivesDrive LCC/BCC sourcing and develop suppliers in TE new footprint.Drive Continuous supplier base and improvement on new and existing supply base.Lead QBR Sessions with Strategy and Preferred supplier base on assigned commodities.Drive and deliver productivity and other objectives for assigned commodities.Execute sourcing based on S2P (Source to Pay Policy) policy and Lean PD process.Lead TCO Analysis and drive sourcing Approval due to committed Indirect Goals with the sourcing committeesDrive innovations with stakeholders for new applications and new processes.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DELIVERABLES, Cont'dVery important – must have experience in developing high spend strategies due to Global Strategy (>$100 Millions), leading anddeveloping diverse teams, influencing others not directly reporting to him/her strategy, driving implementation around supplierconsolidation/best practices, drive optimization of materials being procured and should have good experience in managing changeas well as developing and executing diversified supplier development strategies.Having experience and solid temperament in dealing with resistance to change is critical, and he/she will lead the strategicdevelopment across the entire AP in Consolidation with Global and Reginal Leadership China, Korea, Japan, and Thailand, etc.Must be able to partner with internal Business Unites, Communicate easily to upper management Level and Engineering Leadershipto obtain the best solution for TE.English and Mandarin are required, other languages will be beneficial (Japanese, Korean).Able to influence and gain customer buy-in for deployment of strategies is an essential element for the successful candidateEducation/Work ExperienceCAREER EXPERIENCE COMPETENCIES & CHARACTERISTICSIntegrity, Positive, ResponsibilityDevote to developing career in CommodityManager\Strategic Sourcing.BA/BS, + 8 years minimum work experience ORMA/MS, + 5 years minimum work experienceBusiness analyst expertise is a plusDegree background in Mechanical Manufacturing andElectrical EngineeringGood English skills with fluent conversationcommunication ability.Good commercial negotiation skills.Must data analysis skills and working knowledge ofMicrosoft 365 APPs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,SharePoint, Power BI and Visual C++ is a plus)Strong time management skills and the ability to workwell to deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to influenceteam members.Willingness to travel (25% travel) throughoutWhat Your Background Should Look LikeGenerally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this levelCompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
