Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Operations ManagerJob Responsibilities:You are leading the supplier management, including the search, selection, evaluation, classification, and implementation of outstanding suppliers.You develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key suppliers as well as commodity strategies and strategic risk assessment to secure supply chain resilience, quality and cost optimization in a dynamic environment.You are driving complex contract negotiations and awarding procedures based on cost scenario analysis and defined awarding criteria, involving the relevant stakeholders and their requirements and finally lead the presentation to the top management.Jointly with your team, you proactively observe the market, analyze market trends and pricing data, perform benchmarking activities, and develop TCO models to secure best-in-class cost levels.You collaborate and align with stakeholders (locally, B&R HQ, ABB) you find synergies and levers for cost and quality optimization. Additionally, you enable the swift launch of new technologies and products.As integrity is a key element in this role, you ensure compliance with ABB policies and rules (processes and tools) accordingly. In this context, you also drive process excellence and optimization.On a regular basis, you report defined KPIs to the management team (locally, HQ)Governance of the Procurement Team, including target setting and monitoring, defining roles and responsibilities. Job Requirements:BA/MSc or equivalent.Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal skills, > 7 years leadership experienceStrong procurement, negotiation & analytical expertise.Profound knowledge of strategic sourcing and levers.Good inventory- and risk Management know-how.Deep supplier market knowledge and financial acumen.Fluent Chinese, English.Microsoft Office, SAP MM and Ariba, Power BI.We value people from different backgrounds.
