Your Contribution
As the Development Manager _ HVAC & Powertrain Cooling, you will be responsible for leading development initiatives, overseeing a team of engineers for HVAC and ECM development. The role involves managing the development of new products, enhancing existing ones, and fostering a culture of innovation.

  • Lead and manage the team and its personnel, achieving project goals.
  • Oversee all HVAC and ECM projects from concept to launch, setting timelines and ensuring they are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product success.
  • Provide technical expertise and technical issue solving to the respective teams whenever necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and MAHLE product development procedures.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement of product cost.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and careers.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
  • Support the commercialization of new products and technologies.
  • Stay updated on automotive thermal technology trends and advancements.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, refrigeration engineering or related.
  • With at least 10 years' experience with automotive thermal products.
  • Experience in development of complex air conditioning and powertrain cooling products for passenger and commercial vehicles, esp. in NEV application preferred.
  • Familiar with the development process and standards related to automotive industry components.
  • Proven experience in a relevant role, with a strong background in leading development projects, team management, and driving innovation to support the company's strategic goals.
  • Strong capabilities in coaching
  • Structured and autonomous working style
  • Good communication and team driven skills
  • Fluent English language skills
