Optimize regional Purchasing/Supply chain processes and contracts to source 3rd - party materials with best cost, quality, and service. Lead cross - functional teams in formulating and implementing a regional sourcing strategy for maximum cost savings. Ensure contracts are implemented for high compliance and keep improving supplier performance. Develop a professional approach and ensure advanced Purchasing capabilities are properly used in the spending area.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Contribute actively to Business Purchasing Plan by developing and implementing regional saving opportunities. Report status of saving initiatives and market situation
• Develop and manage relationship with strategic suppliers and track their performance
• Monitor strategy implementation of the spend area sourcing strategy
• Oversee the development and execution of strategies through the strategic sourcing process and the process to select key suppliers for the specific spend area. Manage collaboration for knowledge sharing and proper communication between Local Buyers, within the spend area by providing strategy and deep spend area expertise
• Measure and track internal performance of each spend category within spend area responsibility
• Manage relationship with internal customers

You Bring

• Advanced qualifications in business administration, engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Recognized qualification in Purchasing is an asset
• In depth knowledge of the spend area and/or PMX business
• Purchasing processes (strategic and operational) in business-to-business context
• Substantial professional experience (6-8 yrs) in the same functional domain or other management positions, working at international level.
