Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, service, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Leading design visualization efforts and essential component and assembly details to explore multiple design options.
  • Developing engineering design solutions, capable of 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing.
  • Conducting engineering test with specified measurement tools.
  • Developing design with robust solutions with high quality, familiar with mechanical relevant standards.
  • Delivering improvements to customer focused metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience or Master with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong expertise in mechanical design of electronic devices or precision machinery product, familiar with commonly used material, machining, sheet metal, and die casting parts design and process.
  • Proficient in CAD software PTC Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drawing.
  • Ability of tolerance stack up analysis.
  • Familiar with industry design standards, vendors, and out-of-shelf selection.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English speaking and writing

  • Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets.
  • Experience with thermal design will be plus.
