Production Manager, Resin

As a Resin Production Manager, you will is to fully execute for insuring quality production in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner according to the established schedules and procedures. He /She is critical to the resin manufacturing, customer satisfaction and market demand fulfillment.

The incumbent is directly accountable for EHS, Quality, Personnel, Cost, Efficiency issues related to resin reactors running daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide properly training, coach, monitoring to resin production employees to ensure each operation activity under EHS responsible way and take safety as priority during routine operation via a "0" accident culture building.
• Set up the highest quality standard upon the related procedures, good practices to achieve "0" defect operation to satisfy the sales demand and customer request. Implement IATF 16949 requirements during routine operations.
• Promote the team-work atmosphere and ensure a positive morale to achieve the excellent operation include 5S, LEAN, AMU, CPU, Hazard Waste Control, Energy Saving etc.
• Schedule employees/equipment and verify that needed resources are available as well as modifications to plans based on changing priorities and/or availability of personnel, equipment, and materials etc.
• Develop the related SOP to standardize the routine operation or management systematically for deviation elimination and KPI driven.
• Lead the EHS accident investigation and ensure the corrective actions are completed upon timeline.
• Lead the Resin Cell monthly AP, FP inspection monthly to ensure all Resin facilities are under safe conditions and can be operated safely.
•  Manage the MRO to ensure there is no impact to production, build-up safe storage, with cost saving way.
• Measure the Operators' performance periodically as per company/department KPI and take positive actions to continue improvement.
• Interact with the QC lab to ensure quality products are manufactured and packaged upon the customer requirements.
• Cooperate with QA to investigate quality issues, customer complaints and take corrective actions positively.
• Interact with plant maintenance functions to troubleshoot and restore equipment to ensure fluently operations.
• Support maintenance PM to ensure the Resin facilities maintained in good conditions.
• Work with plant management team closely to implement the 5S and Lean activities or good practices.
• Work with the Process Engineers closely to quickly identify/resolve the emerged process or quality problems in a safe and effective manner.
• Work with the Supply Chain closely to ensure all raw material needed are available in-time and no down-time.
• Involve in potential project related to Resin Cell expansion or optimization to ensure its implementation timely.
• Present as owner of Resin Center to customer audit/external visit or other assignments.

Qualifications

• Colleges or above degree in Chemicals / Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years' experience in multinational company.
• Exceptional interpersonal skill is required.
• Fluency in Chinese and English.
• Strong leadership.
• Should meet all related requirements regarding Quality Management Systems and EHS Management Systems
