The Job

  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing accounting journals, reconciliations, and monthly management reports
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports in compliance with local regulatory requirements and FWD Group standards
  • Prepare supporting documents, financial statements, and other statutory filings for the annual audit, addressing the needs of external auditors and regulators
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from FWD Group and perform other duties as assigned by the manager
  • Assist in the implementation of new system changes

The Person

  • Degree holder with accounting background and CPA certificate
  • At least 4 years of working experience, preferably in insurance / financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge ad technical skills in IFRS17 and IFRS 9, also Accounting Treatment and Oracle Ledger
  • Well-versed in Financial Reporting concepts
  • Attentive to details and adhere to deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Quick-learner and able to teach
  • Willing to work overtime
