Summary
Fusion Worldwide is hiring a Senior Compliance Specialist/ Compliance Manager who will support the development implementation and management of the APAC compliance including export control and privacy program. This individual will report to the Director of Global Compliance and Privacy in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the regional privacy operation, including reviewing the standard privacy causes in agreements or contracts
  • Understand and have experience with reviewing the internal / external privacy policies and impact assessments
  • Interface internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of privacy requirements primarily in APAC
  • Implement framework/ measures to manage the data flow and usage in compliance with the regional regulations including but not limited to developing templates for data collection, data mapping and vendor management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for privacy topic in APAC
  • Monitor the changes in the local privacy laws and make recommendations
  • Work and assist the privacy audits when required
  • Support export compliance tasks if needed

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience within compliance, legal, audit and/or risk function, with recent experience in privacy compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy and data protection regulation, and a good understanding of other major privacy frameworks and evolving legislation in APAC
  • Experience in developing policy and compliance training.
  • A bachelor's degree in related field or above.
  • Proactive work attitude, self-motivated, independent, details-oriented, good team player.
  • Overall planning and organizing competency.
  • Proficient in Chinese and English
  • Willingness to travel (Travel up to 30%)
