We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technical Service Manager
Business: CTO Infrastructure
Principal responsibilities
- Lead the design and coding to build the end to end solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to understand and gather requirements to develop the best automation solutions. Understand functional requirements & scope and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Providing the task and process automation capabilities to facilitate DevOps and Agile practices both internally and externally.
- Ensures participation and coordination of Teams/Pods for problem management and ensuring the resolution of all incidents within the Teams/Pods. Collection, Analyses, Processing of statistics and raw data and identify root cause and improvement areas
- Hands-on development of application on medium/large scale critical platforms
- Able to initiate the project foundation and deliver the core/critical logic in the project
- Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures.
- Apply policies, procedures, practices and standards to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for the own actions, ensure the achievement of high levels of quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
- Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve governance and administration or the way teams and individuals work together.
Requirements
- Experience specifically in frontend / backend development, system integration / migration.
- Working experience on AngularJS / / React / HTML / CSS / JS.
- Working experience on Java and SpringBoot, SpringCloud framework.
- Working experience on relational database, especially Oracle
- Working experience on CI/CD configuration and implementation
- Experience on engineering/project tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Nexus IQ, Nexus.
- Experience on DevOps processes and Agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban
- Hands-on experience on Docker, Kubernetes
- Excellent and high numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English language speaking and writing skills required.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders (internal as well as external)
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Proactive and attention to detail. Sense of urgency to solve problems and propose solutions
- High degree of drive and motivation – to ensure delivery of objectives in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
- Ability to communicate complex issues concisely
- Proven ability of delivery and achieve deadlines
