Position: Product Application Supervisor

Location: Shanghai

This role will be an important part of Nilfisk China marketing & product management team, reporting to Product Manager, Greater China. His/her major task is to discover and develop application opportunities based on the deep understanding of our targeted market segments and customers’ changing requirements. He/she will also be responsible of delivering application trainings to our sales team and dealers, and provide the daily product application support required during their sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop application solutions and new application opportunities for Nilfisk’s cleaning equipment based on the discoveries and understanding of the changing requirements in targeted market segments.

  • Monitor and analyse industry trends and competition dynamics for targeted segments to generate market insights on applications. Maintain a high level of knowledge of the segment processes.

  • Deliver product application trainings to sales team and key dealers, and basic product trainings to new sales and dealers.

  • Perform pre-sale product application introduction presentations in marketing conferences or to customers if needed.  

  • Provide required product application support to sales team during the daily sale activities and bidding process.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree above in Mechanical, Automation, or Electronical Engineering background is preferred.

  • Min. 3 years of industry application development or related experience in the cleaning equipment industry.

  • Background experience in industrial background with product application experience is a plus.

  • Prior experience in product management or product application training is preferred.

  • Good English written and reading capability.

  • Willingness to travel 1-4 times per month in China.

  • Excellent cross-functional coordination and communication skills.

  • Outstanding product presentation and public speech capabilities.
