What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals, provisions and variances.
- Responsible for fixed asset ledger and reconcile other sub-ledgers with GL.
- Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations, generate financial reports and analyses aswell as tax preparation and filing activities.
- Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.
- Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
- Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory (e.g. GAAPs) and internal standards (e.***. compliance
What we’d love for you to have:
We are interested in you as a person; your attitude, behaviours and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
- Bachelor degree or above in Finance or related field.
- 5+ year work experience in GL scope
- Good interpersonal skill and efficient communication skill
- Good in using Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP is preferred
- With an accountant qualification certificate
- Good speaking & written in English
