Job Description

Leading magnet global team (4 in CN and 2 in DE) with a Pur. Vol. of 230 mEUR in 2024, strong growth forecasted in upcoming years, around 28 suppliers located in CN, AP and EU, serving to 45 BBM plants worldwide with 6 different types of Magnets and also taking care of upstream supply chain for rare earth materials;

• Define and implement category strategy, in cooperation with global cross-functional team.

• Steer E-Bidding list and New Awarding based on strategy to ensure target cost achievement.

• Work with the team to achieve MAT Target (BP, CF, YTD, YECC)

• Commercial expertise, technical competence and market knowledge for Rare Earth Materials and Magnets

• Interface towards BU and outside BBM for rare earth material and magnets related topic.

Qualifications

• Leading global team with multi-national culture;

• Master degree in physics, chemical or material sciences preferred;

• Strong communication skills, good at cross-functional collaboration;

• Strong analytical skill, presentation skill and influencing skill;

• Experience in dealing with multi-national companies (CN, DE, JP, KR etc.) and interculture competence;

• Independent thinking and decision-making ability;

• Proactive, high problem solving ability.
