Overview

The role is tasked to develop and lead the end-to-end China A&M Procurement commercial activity across all category pillars, and drives significant accountability of total spend US$400MM+ through;

Defining and executing end-to-end commercial Procurement strategies for Media, Digital/Social, Creative, PR, Trade Marketing, POS and Consumer Promotion across Media, Brand Marketing (Snacks and Beverage), eCommerce and Trade Marketing. Risk Management, Supplier and Key Stakeholders Relationship Management Measuring and Improving Key Agency Performance through Annualised Performance Review and Action Plans Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering YOY Productivity and sustainable ROI As a Greenfield change project, will require sensitivity and strong leadership to redefining current commercial responsibilities of Marketing team across to the PROCUREMENT Category Manager Working collaboratively with the APAC A&M Procurement lead to adopt APAC and Global strategies with the APAC and tailed down to local market. Build & driving long term A&M Procurement category strategy to meet 2025 BU strategy and beyond. Responsibilities Responsible for developing and implementing an integrated Procurement A&M strategy that aligns with each Commercial Unit that will leverage the scale and scope to achieve best-in-market competitive supply agreements and increase overall profitability. Working collaboratively with the APAC A&M Procurement lead to adopt APAC and Global strategies with the APAC and tailed down to local market. Establish new and effective ways of collaborating with key stakeholders and contribute to the overall strategic direction of broader China business strategies. Responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate compliance and governance structures and Procurement esses and for establishing strategies to manage commodity price risk, Procurement ess / control risk, policy and standards within the A&M category. Establish functional credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders. Active participation with cross functional teams supporting the execution of the commercial calendar via the planning and implementation of new products. Optimise supplier innovation and technology. Qualifications Proven technical Procurement category knowledge to ensure the continued adoption and use of best practice approaches Sound knowledge of agency world and agency cost models Preferred CIPSA or related qualification highly desirable Preferred FMCG experience but not essential Degree qualified Proven influencing skills to positively impact complex negotiations and communicate at executive leadership levels Excellent balance of analytical & negotiation skills Contract writing / risk analysis / liabilities and indemnities / SLA’s / and general commercial terms Sound understanding of SAP and P2P Governance and Controls
