For this exciting opening we are looking for a senior entrepreneur, enabler, and game-changer. An aviation business architect, who orchestrates multiple workstreams with passion and superiority. To build our MRO facility in China we are looking for a:

General Manager – Engine MRO Chongqing

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of this mission taking on and driving full end to end responsibility from phase one of tooling and staffing and then seamlessly transform into a high performing output driven Engine’s MRO business.

The Challenge

Build the management core team and fundamental pillars to ensure upmost success Oversee the establishment from construction to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project Lead and manage local teams and contractors, setting clear objectives and measuring progress Serve as the primary liaison between local partners and shareholders, government, overseas management. Ensure effective communication and alignment across all parties Ensure the project adheres to all local laws and regulations, including labor laws, safety standards, and environmental policies Implement quality control programs to meet or exceed the quality standards set by the company and regulatory bodies Establish high-quality Engine MRO operations in the new engine shop facility in Chongqing

Part of your DNA is to build, lead and successfully drive high level projects on an operational as well as strategic level, striving for best-in-class services and success Are able to demonstrate a successful track record in building up comparable high level and high volume business requirements Possess a relevant and adequate degree for the role paired with the necessary professional expertise Previous experience in leading projects in China is considered an asset Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team Full professional proficiency in English, Chinese language skills are beneficial
