What does the role involve?

• Working closely with demand planners of different sales offices in North Asia namely Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan to ensure effective communication and cooperation with the aim to improve forecast accuracy and organize monthly Sales Forecast Integrated meeting. • Monitor the inventory level including on hand, GIT, open orders to ensure right level of inventory to balance the availability and stock level. • Manage daily purchase orders for responsible Business Unit(s) and to improve product availability and avoid stock out while achieving targeted stock level. • Take appropriate actions to mitigate stock shortages with minimum impact and maximum attention to customer experience. • Monitor overdue inbound shipments and ensure on-time delivery and handle urgent demand and other special request from downstream. • SKU management including item pruning, return handling, EOQ and safety stock review. • Optimize daily operation process and support cross functional improvements.

What you need is:

• Degree in logistics, operations management, supply chain, project management or related discipline. • Minimum 1 years of experience in supply or demand planning. • Pro-active and attentive to details with exposure in a dynamic supply and demand environment. • Strong analytical skills with customer centricity mindset and could tackle problem efficiently and logically. • Capable in communicating and influence stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. • Highly proficient in written and spoken English and one North Asian language. • Technical and digital savvy and proficient in MS office application, familiar with ERP system and experience in using SAP (APO) is an added advantage. • Strong in data analysis using Power BI/VBA is an added plus. • Aspire to develop a long-term career with the company and someone with the flexibility to relocate to other locations for career exposure. • Fresh graduate with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
