Sr. Automotive Sourcing Manager Intelligent Cockpit

Position Summary:
The Sen. Manager Automotive Sourcing is responsible for Product Sourcing activities for the SBU Intelligent Cockpit globally and advocate for the Procurement and the Supply Chain Organization into all relevant functions of the HARMAN organization including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Program management, Finance, and Sales) and reports to the Director Automotive Sourcing Intelligent Cockpit. The position owner is also responsible for leading and developing customer RFQ landed BOM / BOL cost and track, monitor, drive actions to ensure material cost targets are achieved during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Support Director Automotive Sourcing Intelligent Cockpit, and act as Senior Staff to provide training/coaching to the team members.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for Automotive Sourcing activities for the SBU Intelligent Cockpit globally and advocate for the Supply Chain Organization into all relevant functions of the HARMAN organization. (Engineering, Quality, Program management, Sales and Finance) Responsible for landed BOM / BOL cost in business cases to be quoted for all customer pursuits Define cost targets and actions needed for Direct Materials, Logistics, and Outsourcing to support Best Initial Costs to win customer pursuits Serve as Program Gate 2 Approver for BOM/ BOL costs and responsible for defining sourcing strategy for Intelligent Cockpit APAC programs. Drive organizational execution for Supply Chain and Procurement to meet program milestones for all pre-SOP programs Lead cost down initiatives for pre-SOP programs to achieve business case landed BOM / BOL cost assumptions. Ensure best practice sourcing strategies are deployed and evaluated during Design Validation phase Lead dual sourcing and design to cost strategies during Design Validation (DV) stage. Owner for outsourcing Make vs. Buy decision process to deliver the target cost structure and customer requirements while enabling a flexible capacity model for HARMAN manufacturing Lead cross functional VA/VE workshops to identify cost down and design to cost opportunities in running programs Support as expert in total cost for the Intelligent Cockpit platforms and help drive the strategy for future roadmaps with the Engineering and Best Cost Analytics teams. Monthly reporting of KPIs Tool superuser (Facton, SAP, etc)Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's / Master degree business administration, industrial engineer or appropriate graduation 10+ years of related experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Management, Program Management, Program Sourcing. Automotive background and strong technical affinity is a must have High financial aptitude and strong business acumen Ability to work independently, establishing priorities, setting goals and decision-making.Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
Capable problem solver Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a highly matrixed organization Able to deal effectively with ambiguity Accepts overall accountability Good presentation and strong writing skills Technical background or experience with electronic products (Semiconductors, Passives, etc)Eligibility Requirements:
