Proposal Engineer – Electrical & Control Systems

About the Role

Location China Shanghai Shi Shanghai Company Siemens Energy Co., Ltd. Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional Location: 上海前滩四方城 How you will make an impact: As proposal engineer, you will be responsible for administrating, consulting and/or negotiating proposals with external customers for Gas Turbine / Steam Turbine electrical and/or control systems. Negotiates contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes.•Sales support for customer meetings & workshops with design institutes during pre-acquisition phase•Proposal preparation for electrical and/or control systems including cost calculation & risk assessment •Technical clarification and negotiation during bid submission & contract negotiation phase•Present results of proposal preparation to management, sales and customers •Avoid Non Conformance Costs (NCC) , handover successful offers to project implementation teams •Technical support on local sub-supplier qualification & clarification, conduct necessary design changes, to meet cost reduction target and local codes & regulations requirements.•Support project execution incl. participating inspection / factory acceptance test as supplier site and providing erection & commissioning instructions at project site, if required•Coordinate electrical and/or control systems design activities and interfaces with internal & external engineering disciplines, procurement department.•Identify, mitigate and manage all project risks•Manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations What you bring: •Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Thermal Engineering•At least 5 years experience in electrical engineering discipline for Gas Turbine / Steam Turbine power plant systems (engineering, project management). •Good knowledge in domestic Codes & Regulations on power generation•Good knowledge and experience in design of gas turbine or steam turbine electrical and/or control systems, turbine control system, generator excitation system.•Rich experience in power plant electrical and/or control systems development & supplier qualification•Experience in testing & commissioning of electrical and/or control systems in combine cycle power plants would be a plus•Fluent English and Chinese skill in business environment•Proven intercultural experience, working experience in European company would be a plus Who is Siemens Energy?
