The Opportunity:

General lab support specialist reports directly to the site manager. This position is responsible for the management and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment. Including monthly maintenance of instruments, coordinate the off-site calibration measurement tools and verification of assigned instrument. Additionally, this position will be responsible of preparation of laboratory solutions and as a back-up role for daily operation management of inventory management when needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

College degree or above, major in Biology/Pharmaceutical Engineering/Analytical Chemistry/Pharmacy/Engineering, etc.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance and management in QC lab, or 1-2 years of experience as an tester in QC lab;

THOSE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB COMPETENTLY:

Combination of related technical education and similar experience. Familiar with the maintenance of HPLC, GC. Work experience in GMP environment. Familiar with QC laboratory instrument management system. Troubleshoot and solve simple issues with instruments such as HPLC, dissolution analyzer, moisture analyzer, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel. Effective work under pressure and handling multi-tasks capabilities. Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality. Customer-oriented. Familiar with the pharmaceutical laboratory environment, with a certain understanding of laboratory workflow and quality requirements (including relevant knowledge such as GMP, ISO, SHE, etc.) Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Problem-solving skills.

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:

Responsible for the management and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment. Complete the monthly maintenance and calibration of HPLC / IR/UV/TOC IR/UV/TOC. Complete semi-annual maintenance of small instruments in QC lab. Assist in the calibration and delivery of measuring instruments (glassware) and experimental tools for metrological verification. Solution preparation. Troubleshooting and solving simple problems with QC laboratory instruments, such as HPLC, dissolution instrument, moisture meter, etc. File management of instrument and equipment verification documents. Management of instrument spare parts warehouse and instrument warehouse, as well as other QC laboratory auxiliary work.
