Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach high school visual arts courses, including both traditional mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture) and digital arts (graphic design, digital illustration, animation).
  • Integrate AI tools and technologies (such as machine learning, generative design, and creative AI applications) into the visual arts curriculum.
  • Guide students in exploring the intersection of art and technology, fostering skills in both creative and critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that combine art theory, history, and AI-enhanced techniques.
  • Encourage students to experiment with new media and digital tools, pushing the boundaries of their artistic expression.
  • Organize student exhibitions and showcases that include AI-based artwork and projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to promote cross-curricular projects (e.g., STEM and arts).
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress through a variety of assessment methods, including project-based learning and portfolios.
  • Maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that respects diverse artistic perspectives and styles.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Digital Arts, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification/license relevant to the subject area.
  • Experience with AI in the creative process or willingness to learn AI tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in digital arts software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Blender, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as DeepArt, DALL-E, Runway ML, or other generative AI applications in the arts.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for nurturing students’ creativity and helping them explore new artistic frontiers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in integrating AI into art education.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in AI and digital art.
  • Experience working in an international school setting is a plus.

Requirements
Required Qualifications ● Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field. ● Administrative experience in an IB World School, preferably in a PYP environment. ● Proven track record of successful school leadership and team management. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong commitment to inclusive education and diversity. ● Experience in an international school setting. Employment Conditions ● This position may require occasional weekend and evening hours. ● The Principal is expected to be visible in school events.
