In 2017, we stood up a team in China to drive the awareness, activation, and continued success of China-based sellers and brands advertising in marketplaces worldwide (North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific) via marketing channels, seller education, and product marketing. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated social manager to drive strategic social marketing programs for Amazon Ads China. The Sr Social & Campaign Manager will oversee key social media accounts for Amazon Ads China, lead social channel experience and strategy, define channel positioning, create content and campaign roadmap, supporting key local and global partners with programmatic approach to serve the evolving needs of our audience and key business programs. This person will work internally in a cross-functional manner, collaborating with teams across Amazon Ads to identify and address our audience needs and turning it into scalable marketing programs. The Sr Social & Campaign Manager will own testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives performance and reporting the impact of social marketing on the business growth.

Key job responsibilities
- Define and implement social channel, content and campaign strategy, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into their workstreams where applicable.
- Own content and channel operation roadmap (e.g. WeChat) with strategic planning, build traction with core targeted audience through effective organic and paid campaigns to scale reach of accounts and drive engagement.
- Define channel priorities and success metrics, setting guidelines and SOPs, partner with local and global teams including SMB Marketing, Brand, Enterprise Marketing, Event, Edu, Sales, GAPD, PR, etc to develop holistic strategy, test-and-learn roadmap and working mechanisms.
- Manage and work with external agencies to strategize and execute creative social programs and campaigns, build iterative testing plans, and drive innovation that constantly raises the social bar, and elevate channel experience that caters to the dynamic needs of our target audiences.
- Manage seasonal and always-on social content and day-to-day activities, including social calendar planning and management, writing and bar raising content, collaborating with WW & CN stakeholder/partner teams on content request intake and GTM promo, as well as vertical media outreach efforts.
- Define clear metrics/benchmarks to track and optimize channel performance. Review, analyze, and report on effectiveness of campaigns, use analytics and attribution model to distill insights and provide recommendations on channel and campaign optimization.
- Monitor social and industry trends to explore new opportunities for business growth, and be a pioneer in adoption of tech, tools and applications where applicable in the social media landscape.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of time-zones and languages

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through social media
