Position Purpose

Process owner for DuPont Water Solutions Logistics Operations in AP across all modes (truck, ocean, rail). Act as liaison between Water Solutions supply chain operations and logistics activities from the plant sites through delivery to customers Ensure processes are in place to provide high on time delivery performance to customers in a cost-efficient manner

Responsibilities

Serve as the link between Water Solutions supply chain in AP and DuPont Logistics Team, providing information and necessary approvals for both groups. Serve as the link between Water Solutions Supply Chain in AP and local 3rd parties, local Authorities, and local business teams Provide weekly logistics updates to supply chain team Maintain responsibility for accuracy of SAP routes, and make any adjustments as needed Lead investigation against service complaints and create improvement plan Drive improved on time delivery performance Generate cost savings initiatives to lower distribution expense As required, will extend the job scope to cover different countries in Asia Pacific region

Accountability

Accountable for proper execution and compliance for all Water Solutions logistics operations Ensure Supply Chain Manager is aware of key business issues pertaining to logistics

Limits & Authorities

Act as the primary authority for day-to-day logistics operations decisions. Escalate key information to Global or Regional Supply Chain Managers as necessary

Functional Skills

Previous project management experience.  Capability to perform basic statistical analysis Demonstrated capability with Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of data systems Teamwork skills (leading meeting and improvement teams) Time management skills (Ability to create and adhere to a schedule) Knowledge of supply chain

Minimum Skills/Experience

Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred.

Prior experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or quality a plus.

Additional Information:
Some travel required.
