Description

The Product Integrity & Responsible Sourcing Specialist is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and updating data pertaining to product testing and social audit Corrective Action Plan (CAP) resolution. Works with the Product Safety and Responsible Sourcing teams to research documents needed from factories and laboratories and prepare reports. This role is key to managing factory and production compliance to facilitate and expedite our Direct Ship process from factory to retail customer. What You’ll Do: Ensure supplier coordination to maintain factory approvals for licensors and direct import customers. Assist in CAP resolution of findings in social audits. Track and update CAPs arising from social audits and onsite follows up as needed. Assist with the creation and maintenance of factory score cards. Support daily communication with the direct import team and Asia sales team. Follow-up with factories on SKUs needing test and inspection reports, escalating potential delays. Upload reports to direct import customer’s platforms. Coordinate China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) projects. What You’ll Bring: Commitment to creating and updating processes. Familiarity with product testing, preferably apparel and / or hardlines. Familiarity with Social auditing, audit types and audit firms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be effective in managing internal and external relationships. Ability to learn and manage numerous customer and licensor online systems and processes. Experience in product safety / compliance within consumer products with global-based factories. Experience working with retail companies in North America is highly preferred. Familiarity with factory / manufacturing environment is advantageous.
