About the role

The BD Manager is responsible for managing the key account for luxury champagne products and growing the profitability and expanding existing business in national wise. Also oversea the B2B business by developing corporate clients in Guangdong province. Whilst develop, implement and analyse the strategy for the area of responsibility to ensure the regional Business Plans are achieved. 

Manage and leverage relevant Penfolds Business Uint commercial and trading initiatives to ehance sales and marketing opportunities within a fixed expense budget.

Maintain existing customers and develop new growth points in Guangdong and tier 1 cities Work closely with the distributor to achieve full year both depletion target and outlet development. Assist to develop more new quality accounts  Focus on potential accounts and deeply promote Penfolds multi-coo concept to customers Enhance brand visibility and execution in channel and diverse outlet Build sales leads to develop new corporate clients in the region Track sales forecast and reports, work effectively routine sales management and shcedule . Aligns with marketing manager to develop& implement marketing strategy for target markets and applications. Leads and works with the cross teams to maintain effective relationships with established customers by providing added value solutions. Liaise and network with relevant industry bodies. Always represent the company in a professional manner and with integrity. Identify criteria, utilising insights and foresights on consumers and customers to guide decision-making on business agreements. Demonstrate professional sales role and commitment in administering Penfolds values.

About you

Ca. 8 years Wine industry exposure with sales experience preferred Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing preferred  Good command of spoken and written English preferred WSET 2 Level preferred Wine/ champagne knowledge preferred Experience in dealing with a demanding customer base Experience in Luxury industry or network in High Net Worth Individuls Mature in business acumen, strategic thinking and influencing in order to develop initiatives (sales drivers) to achieve targeted results Effective negotiation skills including researching and being clear of the needs of the key stakeholders in the negotiation, and then effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain all stakeholders acceptance.  Capability to overcome customers objections and consistently gain advantage over the competition through superior business proposals and strong persuasive selling skills Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook and Word Strong business financials understanding, analysis and application Strong communication and influencing skills Self-driven, growth mindset and agile in learning Travel is required
