Creative Director – Unannounced Mobile Game(上海)

Responsibilities:
on an ARPG mobile game project leveraging a renowned global IP as the Creative Director, overseeing the entire creative vision, direction, and execution of this mobile project. a key advocate for maintaining the artistic integrity and thematic cohesion of the globally recognized IP. the quality, consistency & relevance of the mobile gaming experience are in line with the creative vision and the original IP constraints. 4.Provide creative leadership to the game development team by giving a clear vision of the project. 5.Conceptualize, maintain, and/or further develop the game vision throughout the dev process of this APRG mobile project. as the primary PIC for all creative decisions, leading and managing the creative aspects of game development, which include game design, world-setting, narrative, character development, game art, sound design, and more. 7.Deliver creative reviews, providing guidance and actionable feedback that drives quality and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with the original IP and vision throughout the development process. 8.Inspire and motivate the game development team to create innovative design solutions while upholding a high standard of quality in player experience. that the game delivers an exceptional player experience and meets high-quality standards set by the original IP holder and Tencent HQ. 10.Develop social mechanics and game modes to improve engagement and retention. location is in Shanghai, China.
Requirements:
years of creative direction experience in the videogame industry, preferably on a global scale, with a focus or experience on mobile GAAS games. track record as a Creative Director, with experience in shipping games. understanding of IP world-building, game design principles and mechanics, art/animation design, and narrative design. 4.Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, with a demonstrable ability to manage creative teams and complex projects. 5.Proficient knowledge of ARPG genre and the ability to effectively communicate creative concepts and detailed design rationales both verbally and visually. project management skills and ability to maintain a strategic view of all work. interpersonal communication skills for working with international teams, both Western and Eastern. 8.Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and international team environment. 9.Passion for gaming and a deep knowledge of current trends and popular titles.-
